Increase Oxytocin with Touch And Increase Your Sex Drive

Oxytocin is a hormone produced in the body which plays a role in social bonding, sexual reproduction, and during and after childbirth. It is released during the stretching of the cervix and uterus during a vaginal labor, and with stimulation of the nipples from breastfeeding. This helps with bonding with the baby, milk production, and during the birth itself, as it acts as a pain reliever

Oxytocin, commonly referred to as the “love hormone,” bonds you to your mate through physical touch, sexual activity, and orgasms. The large amount of oxytocin released during birth, and simply the profound experience itself, can add a special closeness to your partner. The way you see each other has also shifted. The connection with the baby the two of you have divinely created is a very intimate bond.

Use the healing time in the first few weeks after childbirth to be present and affectionate with your partner. Hold one another, kiss, gaze into each other’s eyes, and gently caress each other, valuing this new stage of life.

The oxytocin released in physical touch will increase your sexual drive, so you will be open to resuming sexual intimacy when your body is ready.

Having Great Sex After Baby

March 10, 2016 by Christina Hemming Leave a Comment

This is a photo of a mom and dad on either side of their one year old baby in bed together. There is a lot of space for copy above.Having an exciting and fulfilling sex life is just as important as caring for your baby. Transforming the intimacy with each other can be difficult with your baby, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are some ways to ensure you’re having great sex after having your baby.

Postpartum Recovery and Care

Whether you’ve had a vaginal birth or C-section, your body has gone through huge changes.  Belly binding is one of the most important things aside from proper nutrition and rest when recovering from pregnancy and childbirth.  The greater you care for your body, the quicker you will heal, and the quicker you will be safe to have sex.

Increase Oxytocin with Touch

Oxytocin is a hormone produced in the body which plays a role in social bonding, sexual reproduction, during and after childbirth.  Use the healing time in the first few weeks after childbirth to be present and affectionate with your partner.

The oxytocin released in physical touch will increase your sexual drive, so you will be willing when your body is ready.

Fighting Fatigue

Proper exercise and nutrition will boost your energy, mood, and your sex drive.  Many exercises, like yoga and walking, can be done with your partner and your baby to provide both physical stimulation and bonding benefits.

Find the Time

Finding the time is most likely the biggest deterrent from having sex.  The times when your baby is asleep is crucial time for rest, and also an opportunity for intimacy.

Post Pregnancy Hormones and Sex

The increase in hormones will also increase the number of nerve endings near your clitoris, leading to more frequent orgasms.  Hormone changes may be causing postpartum depression. These feelings may decrease arousal, but what better way to relax than an orgasm?

Better Orgasms

Your vagina could have actually changed direction after giving birth, allowing it easier to orgasm in certain positions that weren’t possible before having your baby.  Some women report having increased vaginal muscle control after carrying a baby, especially if you do your kegels.

Do Your Kegels

Kegels are exercises you can do to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, make it tight. Continuing these exercises regularly will improve the muscle tone of your vagina, making sex more enjoyable for both partners.

Childbirth is such an amazing, life-changing experience. Taking care of your body will increase the healing process, and boost your energy, to be more available for intimate time with your partner.

Properly tending to your mind, body, and soul will ensure your family’s health, happiness, and prosperity.

C Section Recovery Goes to New York City

May 11, 2013 by Christina Hemming 2 Comments

Newborn

C Section Recovery Kit will be going to New York City in a week for a consumer Baby show May 18/19, at Pier 92.

The women in NY area visit our site and make up 30% of our audience so we are coming there to make purchases easier and introduce people to our product. As binding has medically been proven to reduce stress, improve walking, we have upgraded an ancient tradition into a modern style with modern materials, that make adjusting and proper compression easy and simple.

Pregnancy creates a space where binding becomes a source of relief in the later stages of carrying baby. Because hormones are released into our body to allow bones to shift as baby grows it can place pressure on our pelvis and lower back, which can increase sciatica pain or varicose veins.

If this is your issue, then please wrap yourself, put your legs up, increase water intake and do light stretching. Keep night time eating light, as this can help  reduce indigestion, or focus on light soups to maintains nutrition while keeping stress on body lower.

Childbirth can become complicated even when we don’t want it to be, and if we can have choices and sage options medically, then we can aspire to birth with a Midwife or Doctor, and resort to the C Section when it is medically necessary.  I am 5’8″ and my partner is 6’4″……I have narrow hips, its just wasn’t happening for me……so my RN Midwife looked up and said lets get to the hospital……..this is how the product has come into existence. As  a licensed massage therapist, I respect and value of vaginal births and surgical births as both are  honored, as a functional need of the body. There are important reasons why vaginal birth is superior for health and well being for mom and baby, but there are circumstances which point to surgery also, and some aspects of bacterial exposure and breastfeeding can help with immune system issues which can arise in cesarean cases. We wish to support education and exposure to options for all women in childbirth and assist in a better recovery.

So get out of bed, walk and breastfeed more comfortably wearing our soft cotton binder after your childbirth.

If you are coming to NY please visit us at booth 606.
